Versacchi Heartfelt Hair Programme

Our special program, called Heartfelt Hair - helps children who have lost their hair.

Heartfelt Hair provides custom made hair replacements for these kids. In cases of true need, our nationwide sponsorship program can also help families in financial difficulties who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford these services. But creating these individual custom hair replacements requires something vital: actual human hair.

Donating Your Hair

Versacchi is seeking young people (maybe just like you?) who want to make a real and lasting difference in an actual child's life.

Perhaps you have wanted to make your corner of the world a better place, but really haven’t found something yet worthwhile and sensible to offer. Well, this is your opportunity!

If you have been blessed with a healthy head of hair, how about donating some of those locks to the heartfelt hair programme?

We will take care of ALL the details.

How it Works… and The Minimum Requirements

All donors will receive a unique, personalized, deserved Certificate of Appreciation, telling the world about their very generous and timely gift.

These are the basic requirements:

• The minimum hair length suitable for making kids wigs is 8 inches (20 CM) Please tie the hair donation up into ponytails and wrap in cling film prior to sending it. Thank You.
• Chemically treated hair is not suitable, sorry. Hair that has been treated with chemicals is not as strong or stable as untreated hair.
• Sending Us Donated Hair – All hair donations can be posted to either of our locations in either Dublin or Cork. (See our addresses here)
• Alternatively - Contact Us For a Donation Pack! Simply telephone or email us with your full name, address and contact details, and we’ll send you out a prepaid self-addressed postal donor pack. Then all you need to do is send us back the hair.

Or if you would prefer to personally visit our hair studios and let us take care of everything. We will expertly cut the hair you wish to donate and then give you a fresh, new re-style – at absolutely no cost to you. (Advanced appointments are absolutely necessary)

Then rest easy, knowing that through your generosity a stressed family will be breathing a huge sigh of relief and a child will once again smile and laugh when looking in the mirror.
