Implants and Cloning
Do implants and cloning really work? A Dr. Jerry Cooley (MD) implanted cultured cells into his own scalp at fifteen different head areas. He only managed to promote a few follicles to grow.
Even when the same quantity of cells is injected, and even if the cells are from the same donor, the number of hair follicles produced in response to the procedure is extremely unreliable.
Another attempt by Aderans/Bosley produced just a few hairs in a single individual!
Research & development in ongoing in this field and may well produce breakthroughs in the future but right now this procedure must be viewed with a jaundiced eye and a grain of suspicion!
